Your colors stay yours

Palunio processes color calculations and image extraction in your browser. The tools do not require accounts and do not use advertisements, remote image processing or third-party fonts. Optional Google Analytics is available only after you choose Allow analytics. Rejecting it keeps the tools fully functional. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer.

Local browser storage

Your current palette, roles, harmony choice and named palettes are stored in localStorage on this browser. They are not synchronized across devices. Clearing browser data removes them. Use Export → Palette JSON for a portable backup. Use the button below to remove Palunio's stored data from this browser.

Optional analytics

When enabled and accepted, Google Analytics measures visits using page paths and browser/device information and may set analytics cookies. We exclude URL query strings, palette fragments, reference-page URLs, palette names and image data from the values we send. Automatic enhanced interaction measurement and advertising personalization are disabled. Your choice is remembered in this browser for up to 180 days. Revoking consent stops collection and removes Palunio’s accessible analytics cookies. Google’s privacy policy explains its processing. Browser-local tool storage is used independently of analytics.

Images

Images are decoded and downsampled locally. The original file and preview are kept only in memory while the page is open. Image pixels are not stored in localStorage or included in palette exports.

Sharing

Share links encode the palette and role arrangement in the URL fragment. Anyone with the link can read those colors. Fragments are not sent in an HTTP request, but they remain visible in browser history and to scripts on the page. Localhost links only work where the local server is running.

Hosting

Palunio is prepared for hosting on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes network requests and may process IP addresses, browser information and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Your image files and browser-local palette collections are not uploaded by Palunio. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
